Sounds like a plan! You know how to reach me! Let's scream for vengeance tomorrow tomorrow! It's going to be the 6th Judas Priest gig I attend! Can't wait! I'll try to be there around 19.30-ish.

Yeah the Priests were great and I had a great time--now recovering from a neck ache and a sore throat. Too bad I got delayed on the way there. We'll talk longer the next time!

I thought it 'd be fun to dig into 'me olde concert tokens' and see if i can list them here. Go figure: I still have them all! Great memories! Turns out I saw Priest three times in the IJsselhallen! I'm not even very fond of that place...

I remember the first two gigs made great impression on me, though until then I almost hated Judas Priest. Some friends had to drag me there--I never regretted it. Bet I even went more often to JP concerts than the guys who started all this, HAH!
I have the most vivid memories of the HMH concert, which was a great venue and Rob Halford screaming 'Painkiller' while he draped himself like a bat over the monitor in front of him. He maintained that position throughout the entire song. After he stood up, the monitor was all covered in sweat...

At the 2008 concert, I salvaged a guitar pick of Glen Tipton with a piece of chewing gum from between the grids. Still a proud owner today! Allow me to share the ticket here:

Of course, what we are really looking for here are Bodine tickets!

Wow, Jan, impressive you still have all these tickets from years ago.
I saw the Priest live for the 1st time in the Jaap Edenhal with Ted Nugent as supportact.
Why I don't know anymore but I missed the Priest gig with Testament and Megadeth in HMH and with the Scorpions.
Supportact in 2008 in Zwolle was Iced Earth if I'm right.
Pity all the concerttickets look the same nowadays, in the good ol'times they all looked different and it was great to collect them.

Their is still 1 gig missing and you know which 1 !!!

Cool to see those Mojo-tickets again !
I used to have some of them myself from the Aardschokdag festivals and
another few ... i guess from gigs like Maiden and Metallica.
Priest is one of the very few i`ve never seen live perform.
I regret losing my tickets coz i also used to save them from being torn
apart at the door and had all those flyers and tickets for years on my wall.
I had loads ... also the ones from ''Scum'' in Katwijk ; very recognizable with
a star in the middle where the bandlogo and other info was.
Curious if there`re other bangers here who know these ones.
Off topic as usual ... but heey !

I remember now that my metal buddies were raving when, during the act of Warlock at the 1987 Priest gig, one of Doro Pesch's boobs slipped out of her leather bra.
For many visitors, I'm afraid, it was the only memorable moment of the support act...

As for Cinderella in 1988, I have no memories of them. I'm seeing misty images in my mind of a glam-rock band, that's all, no musical memories. I think they were a total mismatch to the headline. I did not feel the urge to buy a Cinderalla record afterwards - nor of Warlock, for that matter.

hahahaa ; thanx for sharing the boob-incident :woohoo:
Never cared much for Warlock`s music .. but Doro was a fox :P
Same with Lee Aaron ; so so music, but boy did i have a crush on her
those days.
Cared even less for bands like Cinderella and other glam acts, but never
really understood the hate reaction from the thrash side with their
anti-poser statements.
Okey, surely those bands were pretty whimpy and disgusting sometimes, but
even being a thrasher myself i always thought : each his own ... nothing to get hung about.
Rivalry in music is so unnecessary
Peace ;) hahahaa !
