New Mk-IV track revealed!

23 January 2012: What an odd (Mon)day for another scoop! But who cares?! Regularrocker follows no media conventions! Here's the second track from the Mark-IV demo for you:

EASE DOWN (© to the owners Gerard Haitsma, Oscar Holleman, Jay van Feggelen, Erik van der Ven, Jeroen Bos)!

"Ease down on me baby, exercise your thighs..." hmm... don't we all like that?

The up-tempo rock track shows that Bodine was moving into a direction that was paved by AC/DC. Nonetheless, Bodine Mk-IV had enough originality to spice things their own way. The appreciation of this track is, of course, entirely up to you, listeners! The track is published on regularrocker with kind permission of Gerard Haitsma.

As of today, the new tracks are added to the Ultimate Bodine Chart. Move over and rate them here! Lyrics will be transcribed later (and YES! any help with this would be higly appreciated. Offer your help via the contact form).

ERIK VAN DER VEN's bio added!

1992 Erik van der ven

22 january 2012: THE PIECES OF THE 1990 REUNION PUZZLE are starting to fall into place. Erik van der Ven has been really helpful getting a better picture of the time frame and events around the attempt to revice Bodine around 1990. Not all details are uncovered and some mysteries remain to be unraveled, but the big picture is beome more clear.
Regularrocker realises that after including Erik's story, a bio on Robert Soeterboek and Oscar Holleman cannot be left out either. One at the time, though...

OLD NEWS in Joepie magazine

1982-01 Joepie Bodine line-up Change tn20 january 2012: Joepie magazine published a nes flash in January 1982 about the split between Jay and the rest of the band. How nice of them, but this was even old news 30 years ago. Most interesting word in the news flash: "merely". Was there something that needed to be emphasised (nudge, nudge!)?

2012-01-01 Bodine promo package Bakker

3 january 2012: Koen Bakker of just shared a photo of his copy of Bodine's debut album! It included a massive iron-on logo and a printed bio. Koen is one of the few proud owners of an original collector's item that is likely to have become scarce. Thanks for sharing this, Koen!
